Are You Taking Care Of Your Authentic Movado Watch Properly?

The problem with owning an expensive watch such as a Movado
watch is that some people believe that it is safe from all
harm because of the price put into building it. However,
authentic Movado watches are just like every other watch
that does require maintenance from time to time. It is
important that you treat your watch not only when it stops
running to make sure that it maintains its quality.

If your authentic Movado watch has not been worn for some
time, there is the possibility that it will stop running.
This does not mean that your watch is broken. The best way
to fix this is by turning the crown clockwise a few times
to wind it, and then set the appropriate time.

A key point to pay attention to with your authentic Movado
watch is whether it is water-resistant or waterproof. If
you have a water-resistant watch, this does not mean you
can go in the water for a long period of time with your
watch. It will only protect your watch from small amounts
of water for small amounts of time such as washing your
hands or walking in the rain.

When looking for an authentic Movado watch to where while
swimming, you should pay close attention to the
water-resistance scale. This can help you select a watch
suitable for your type of activity without damaging an
expensive watch. Generally it is safe to say any watch
with a water-resistance of 100 meters is suitable for
taking a shower with or going swimming.

Another part to maintaining the quality of your Movado
watch is cleaning it from time to time and keeping it in
the box in a dry place when you're not using it. If the
slightest bit of dust were to get in the timepiece, it can
hinder the watch and effect its proper functioning. This
is why it is vital to keep it in the box when you're not
using it. Also, it is vital that you replace any type of
loose, chipped or cracked crystals immediately. This can
damage the functioning of the watch to the point where it
may never work again if not replaced.

No matter what the watch is, it is crucial that you give it
the proper maintenance needed to ensure proper functioning.
Especially with a high quality watch such as an authentic
Movado watch, you want to make sure it runs to the best of
its ability. As long as you check it from time to time and
not just when it stops working, your authentic Movado watch
should maintain its proper function.

Trade Stuff Online - No Money Involved

Now there is a new technology that allows you to trade
stuff online without the exchange of money. Did you ever
wonder if you can go online and trade that old video game
that you never use for something that you can put to good
use, for free?

Imagine being able to trade those shoes that you never
wore, that shirt that you received as a gift but didn't
really like. Now you can trade anything for anything else
of interest, with no money involved. That's something new
to me!

There are multiple websites where you can trade stuff
online, but mostly it is money based and in order to get
stuff, you have to pay. Little by little, there are
websites popping up that will allow you to trade one item
for another without the exchange of money. Each person
would have to arrange their own shipping.

You ever hear of oneredpaperclip.com ? It is a story where
a guy started with one red paperclip and by trading it for
something better, like a pen, he was able to trade the pen
for something even better. Then he kept trading stuff for
better stuff until he reached a point where he was trading
pretty valuable stuff. For Free! Soon he's is on his way
to trading it for a house. He mentioned that that is his
goal.

You don't have to reach for that same goal to benefit. You
can simply find that certain stuff that you're looking for.
Let's see, I can think of many things lying around my
house that I would love to trade for other items,
especially if it's free.

I would also love to hear what stuff you have to trade with
me. It's like having two garage sales but instead of
money, one person trades stuff from their garage sale for
stuff from the other person's garage sale. I think that
both persons will be happy with their trade.

Being able to trade stuff for no money is very powerful.
Although you may not want certain stuff. Someone out there
would love to have it. And they may have something that
you want in exchange.

Imagine if you can trade what you don't want for something
you do want. The possibilities are endless. Anytime you
have stuff you don't want, simply trade it. That would
make the economy better if you ask me. Unwanted stuff will
become "money" in a sense because it can be used to trade
for other wanted stuff.

----------------------------------------------------
You should try to Trade Stuff at TradeStuff.com. Give it a
try, it is a new website and soon it will be huge. Go to

exchange of money.

Business Mentoring -v- Business Coaching - What's the Difference?

What's the difference between business coaching and
business mentoring?

As a coach in training we are taught the rather purist
"elicit their greatness" stuff, of which I am a big fan
when I coach. I believe in my clients (often rather more
so than they do in themselves) and their coach believes
they already have all the answers inside and frequently
they do, especially about "problems" such as lack of focus,
how you procrastinate, why you don't practise extreme
self-care, why it's different for you (yeah, right) and so
on.

But this is all rather different when it comes to money and
business. Because, of course, you don't know all the
answers do you?, You haven't necessarily got the wisdom
innately just lurking inside you waiting for a business
coach to ignite it, although sometimes when ignition
happens you might easily say to me "oh yes, I knew that"
and sometimes you mean instinctively. But remember,
knowing isn't all we need. We want action as well. And a
coach will get you into action by providing accountability.

And a business mentor doesn't necessarily know all the
answers either, does she? No, but she might know a darned
sight more than you, especially after years of experience
of running her own businesses and those of her business
clients. She might indeed be a Wise Old Bird. And if
she doesn't know, she not only knows a man who does, but
she can frequently get you an appointment to speak with him
and he will be delighted to help you too, as many
successful people love to do.

So, what DOES a Business Mentor know?

• Why it's important to invest in you first, as the finest
asset of your business.

• Time-saving and money-saving shortcuts.

• How to get useful stuff done, how to stop spinning your
wheels.

• Better ways of doing business which will get you the
results you want faster, the results we all want - more
money from less work and pronto.

• Lots of other people who have done what you are trying to
do, who may be willing to give you a leg up, or at least
some useful information which will save you time and make
you more money.

• How to understand accounts. How to teach you to read
your own without making you feel dim.

• How, when and why to outsource which tasks, how to do
that when you think you can't afford to and who to trust
with your tasks.

• How to give you an appropriate kick up the arse when you
need it.

• How to create wealth in your business, how to devise your
own exit strategy and why that's important while you are
still lovin' it, how to create a Business to Love and
what's lovable about a business.

• How to achieve perspective, plan for success and play a
bigger game.

• How to E-Myth it by creating robust systems and how to
work a 4-Hour Workweek.

• How to become a great leader and how to communicate
cleanly.

• How to fix your business if it's broken and how to ditch
it and start again when it can't be mended and why that's
not only OK, but easy and desirable and how to do it.

• Really cool ways that other people are making money in
business, from which you can learn and grow faster.

• How to overcome your fear of success AND your fear of
failure.

• When to push and when to pull.

• Lots of woo woo stuff which makes your task even easier
if you will surrender to the magic.

• How to keep you in The Zone - the place where you perform
best, where everything is effortless.

• Lots of tools which take a load off.

• How you will manifest your success.

• How to license your business across the country, and who
to go to if you want to franchise it.

• How to get out of your day job, or the job you have
created for yourself by becoming self-employed, a job which
is far worse because of the dreary pay and conditions!

• Which courses to go on, what books to read thus saving
you time and money

• The immense value of a Mastermind team and how you can
add value to one you join.

• How to get clear for take-off and landing
(clutter-clearing mentally and in every which way)

• Simply? What works.

"Gosh, Judith! Do I really need to learn all that?" No,
you don't. You get to pick and choose from the tools in
your business mentor's toolbox, the ones you need right
now. I could go on, but a bigger list is not necessarily a
better list as we all know, especially with our short
attention spans, us Entrepreneurs! But are you starting
to imagine the combined power of a business mentor and a
business coach? Va va voom. And just imagine her on YOUR
team!

For starters, here's a tip I learned only yesterday from a
trusted and admired colleague about motivation. Did you
know there are three elements to motivation? No, me
either until yesterday and actually I have always preferred
inspiration to motivation but now that I understand this
concept, I can see why I did. The three parts to
motivation are direction, effort and persistence. And you
might have one or even two, but without your three ducks in
a row, you ain't going very far are you, in fact it's
probably exhausting you.

So, how will a combination of business mentoring and
coaching skills will help you find your mojo? My personal
experiences in the past have been that I am often a tad
worried about stepping up to the plate, so a challenge
isn't always the best thing for me, in fact it can be
terrifyingly disabling. And I frequently know I should do
something, but we don't trade in shoulds in coaching, only
wants and you always know what you want, deep down and a
good coach WILL elicit that! And then finally when I come
across someone who has what I want and knows who and what I
need to know to get there, and has a gentle and provocative
style of helping me achieve those things, and I'm in, like
Flynn.

Are you ready, too? Yup, thought so.

Talk to a business coach and mentor and allow them to
listen to you explain about your vision and what you
really, really want and then trust them to find endless
ways to teach, share, encourage, support, cheerlead, nudge,
cajole, inspire, motivate, mentor and coach you into the
success you deserve and want with your business plans for a
happier, healthier, wealthier life. Especially a wealthier
one. Oh, and did I mention? It'll be fun!

Sifting Through the Good and Not So Good Work at Home Ideas

The web is flooded with work at home ideas, some legitimate
and some not as much. Everyone is tempted to try a work at
home idea at some point of their lives. Whether it's when
you've had a new baby, moved to a new town, had a changed
in marital status, or just bored with your regular day job
and pesky co-workers. However, not all work at home ideas
are as lucrative as they are made out to be.

Your USP

The first most important thing when figuring out which work
at home idea is good for you is to figure out your Unique
Selling Proposition also known as USP. Simply put, you have
to know what your strengths are. Are you good at math, is
language your forte, or are you more of a whiz kid as far
as computers are concerned? The biggest mistake people make
when looking for work at home ideas is not evaluating their
abilities correctly.

They either undervalue themselves by thinking I can't do
anything or they are too overconfident and feel they can
strike gold overnight. Be your own honest critic and try a
work at home idea on the side before you put all your eggs
into that one basket. If you have always had a passion for
making jewelry, start wearing a few of your best creations,
and see if you receive any compliments. If people around
you ask where you got those stunning earrings from, don't
shy away from taking credit - rather offer to make
similar ones for that friend.

Take great pictures of your creations and start compiling
them onto a simple website or brochure. However don't spend
your savings on too much overhead, before you actually get
some orders. Advertising is obviously necessary but perhaps
you could do it for free or for very low costs or by word
of mouth. You could find offers for free business cards on
the internet or you could perhaps give your necklaces or
rings for free to people who pay you compliments. You can
even save money by giving your creations as gifts during
the holiday season and seeing the type of response they
bring about.

In Home Sales

If you can't really pinpoint an artistic strength or
talent, there are other work at home ideas that might prove
fruitful. A relatively safer work-at-home opportunity
usually targeted at women are in home sales of products
like Avon or Mary Kay cosmetics, food storage products like
Tupperware and other things like books, clothes and even
toys. These companies usually have tried and tested
business models and provide comprehensive training to their
new sales reps. Some companies have a minimum inventory
requirement or starter fee, while others require you to buy
an introductory kit.

How Different are YOU?

We all have choices. In this Industry there's the well-worn
almost an auto-pilot course of a road called: Hype - False
Promises - False Expectations - It's Easy - I'll do all the
work for you - All you have to do is
Join...Unfortunately... This road is traveled the most.

There's another road that is known for being one that is
paved with Integrity - Practicality - Realistic Hope and
Expectations - Honesty - Accountability - Mutually
Beneficial Relationships...This road is by far Less
Traveled. Because of this fact, and it's a pretty well-kept
Secret...It has to be blazed by the visionaries, the brave,
the one with a Big Why, (The power of why), the One that
cares, the Servant leader, (the one willing to give it all
away) and the ones that know that this road alone
guarantees the arrival to the desired Destination -
Personal Freedom & Independence for all who are not easily
guided off its path.
The choice facing you and I today is this... Which road
will I be traveling on today?

Identify for yourself the road you've been traveling on,
and make sure it's the one that will get you to your
Destination ( Does it Match your why?).

The one that will get you to where you want to arrive - has
already been tested and proven - over time by literally
1,000's to be foolproof - if implemented.(Written Goals do
work)The funny thing is - it's not an obvious Choice to
consider - initially. It isn't very worn and that's
sometimes puzzling at first.
The reason why it's not very worn is because...of the
little word WORK. It takes people joined together (A TEAM)-
looking out for the best interest of others and always
putting the other first - taking slow and deliberate -
tested and proven steps - consistently over a period of
time - to arrive at the desired destination.
You see the grass is greener on the best road, because it
happens to grow there due to the fact it's traveled less.

It isn't mainstream.

Are you wiling to step out of the main stream to find the
gold in the smaller stream? The different one or the one no
one uses ?It does take skill and work to travel this road,
and at a pace that actually protects the path by being worn
completely away in the process. You know, from those racing
through it - by themselves - at others expense. Remember,
all those you step on and knock down on your way up will be
there to let you drop on your way down. Stop and look
around and see the bodies you are leaving hurt all around.
It is so much easier to reach down and help them up and it
may only take a minute to say, "great Job" or "you look
great today, keep it up".

Those that choose to go it alone, even on the right path -
only end up being lost and off track because they failed to
realize the importance of sticking together, and looking
out for the best interest of the others they came across in
their travels. So much easier to climb the mountain when
two of three are helping each other regardless who makes it
to the top first. Those only out for themselves get lost
and frustrated because they were bent on - trying to climb
over and knock down everyone else - because they were in it
for themselves and in a big hurry - looking out for only
themselves.

Traveling the right road, the one less traveled - will make
all the difference in your Business and even more in your
Life! Be a servant Leader and get to the top faster.

My quote to show the point: "Two roads diverged in a wood,
and I took the one less traveled by. And that has made all
the difference." - American poet Robert Frost (1875-1963)

INTERVIEW COACHING: Add Value to Your Business – Be On the Cutting Edge

You name it - Blackberry, Skype Connection, Cell Phone,
iPhone – these are the tools of this trade.

Has it happened to you in your business? You reach out to
someone in a far away country and work with a client via
technology ? Believe me, this is the way of the future –
and it is already here!

Last month I coached a man in Israel going for a job
interview in Hebrew. We worked through his Blackberry and
my cell phone. The wonderful ending is he "got the job" -
and was able to negotiate a higher salary offer.

This is what I call exciting work. What a wonderful, crazy
world we live in. In a business where the sky's the limit!

It seems one of the secrets to success in a coaching
business is to find the right niche for you. I found my
niche after some trial and error – and that niche is
Interview Coaching. My clients are not only people in job
search – they are from every field imaginable including –
authors who want to sell their books to agents;
entrepreneurs who want to sell their businesses to
investors/or sponsors; someone who wanted to be on a major
quiz program, and, a even beauty queen who needed answers.

You might think that just anyone could advertise themselves
as an Interview Coach. In reality they can do that, but
that doesn't mean that they have what it takes to do a good
job or that they will be able to reap the benefits for
their clients or themselves. There are some factors that
will determine what makes a really good interview coach.

Here's a little quiz for you to take to determine if this
might be a niche for you to explore further.

__ Are you making the revenue that you had hoped for?

The amount of money you make through interview coaching
will be determined by the amount of time and effort you put
into marketing.

__ Are you looking for added value to give your clients?

If you are already a have a career business, or are a
resume writer, or even a career counselor – the more
credibility you have through great results, the better the
referrals .

__ Are you up to a new challenge of learning a new skill
set?

Cutting edge techniques and methods will only enhance your
credibility and give you the savvy to present yourself as
an "expert" in new areas that you may not now offer.

__ Are you a good problem solver – able to diagnosis the
problem?

If you like diagnosing problems and getting to the root of
what's going on with a person – this is right up your alley
- listening and solving problems.

__ Are you ready to give straight-forward – sometimes
difficult feedback?

The clients want to find out what they have been doing
wrong. It's up to you to give them the "real" scoop. Good
communication skills and practice will be the key to your
success.

__ Are you willing to spend time marketing this new
service?

If you have an established practice, this will be an add-on
to your marketing efforts. If you are starting a new line
or business then you will have to use some resources to get
your business going.

__ Are you patient with people from other cultures?

Often people who contact you for services will have English
as a second language. It will be your decision if you can
work with people who require a bit more patience and
coaching.

__ Are you willing to be the client's rock when they get
rejected?

When someone has been "beat up" in the workplace it will be
part of your job to let them know that life goes on – and
that they can't give up. Sometimes this will be in the form
of listening and encouraging them.

__ Are you ready to make a greater difference in peoples'
lives?

You may already know how good it feels to make a difference
and receive those calls or emails letting you know you
helped someone or given them the confidence they needed to
take a risk.

How many checks were you able to put on the list? If you
have seven out of the ten skills required – or higher –
this may be a place for you to explore.

What is life after all if it isn't about making a
difference? You can make a difference in your own life as
well as other peoples' lives - in their successes, and in
their job satisfaction. It can be a very rewarding
experience for you – that happens over, and over, and over
– extending all over the world. You can make a difference
as an Interview Coach.

Help! I'm Overwhelmed with Paperwork: Options That Can Get You Back to the Business of Your Business

The phone is ringing off the hook, you have 72 emails in
your inbox and your desk looks as though it's being
consumed by paperwork. You have three options; you could
take on these tasks yourself, hire an Administrative
Assistant, or seek the services of a qualified Virtual
Assistant. If you decide to put in some overtime and
tackle the job yourself, at least you'll be saving some
money…or will you? Let's examine this option further.
Assume that you are more qualified than any Administrative
Assistant you could hire. That is to say you have an
absolute advantage in running the company and carrying out
the required administrative tasks. For example, suppose
that you type 15 pages per hour and that your prospective
Assistant only types 10 pages per hour. You need to have a
60 page report typed. It would take you 4 hours to
complete the job yourself, and your Assistant would take 6
hours. Believe it or not, the cost savings still lies in
having your Assistant perform the task. This follows from
two simple economic concepts: opportunity cost and
comparative advantage. I asked Dr. William Sims a
Professor and Chair of the Economics Department at
Concordia University in Montréal to explain these two
concepts further:

"Comparative advantage is a concept used by economists to
explain international trade. It suggests that even if a
country has an absolute advantage in the production of all
goods, it will maximize its wealth by specializing in those
commodities in which it has the greatest advantage and
trading for the others. For example, Martha Stewart may
have an absolute advantage relative to just about everyone
she could hire in cooking and cleaning. Should we then
conclude that she should do the cooking and cleaning at
home or should she outsource these activities? The answer
clearly rests on the opportunity cost of her carrying out
these tasks versus the cost of hiring someone else to do
them. Her comparative advantage is likely in growing her
business. Outsourcing is almost certainly the wealth
maximizing strategy for Ms. Stewart."

In the context of our example, the opportunity cost of you
carrying out the Administrative tasks yourself is the value
of the time you will lose that you could have spent on
other things, such as growing your business or spending
time with your family and friends. There are only so many
hours in a day. Let's assume that you can make $150
dollars per hour for every hour you spend growing your
business. The opportunity cost of you doing your own
typing would be $600.00, whereas the cost of the Assistant
doing the work (assuming an effective wage of $43.28
(calculations shown later)) is $259.68. Using the
Assistant would result in a savings of over $340.00.
Although your prospective Assistant would take 50% longer
to complete the task, you would still be wise to maximize
your wealth by spending your time growing your business.
Despite the fact that you have an absolute advantage at
typing, the Assistant has a comparative advantage (i.e. a
lower cost) in carrying out administrative tasks. You
should therefore, specialize in the task in which you have
the greatest advantage.

Perhaps you've decided that you would profit by hiring an
Administrative Assistant. But what about the other option,
the Virtual Assistant? Hiring a VA couldn't possibly be
less expensive than hiring an Administrative Assistant,
right? Wrong! According to Monster.ca, the median salary
of an Administrative Assistant in Toronto is $42,837 per
year. Assuming a 40 hour work week and a 52 week year,
this employee would be paid for 2080 hours throughout the
year at a rate of $20.60 per hour. This would seem quite
reasonable but, according to a new survey by America Online
and Salary.com, the average worker admits to wasting 2.09
hours per 8 hour workday on non-work related activities.
So, assuming that an Administrative Assistant takes a 0.5
hour lunch and has 0.5 hours in break time, the work year
turns into 1276.6 hours. This yields an effective hourly
rate of $33.56.

Next we incorporate benefits. According to the Greater
Toronto Marketing Alliance, the approximate total benefits
paid by the average Ontario employer are 28.97%. This
means the average Ontario employer pays $42,837 x 28.97% =
$55,247 per year. This is an effective hourly rate of
$43.28. This result would be even higher if we included
the cost of office space and equipment.

As for the Virtual Assistant option, rates for VAs are
usually between $20-45 per hour and can even be as much as
$75 per hour for VAs that specializes in a particular
field. The downside here is that although a VA is a
qualified professional Administrative Assistant, he/she is
also an entrepreneur and is therefore not available at your
beck and call. Nevertheless, in working with a Virtual
Assistant, you would pay only for the time spent on task
and you have the added benefits that you don't need to buy
any office furniture and equipment, pay any benefits or
allocate any extra space. It would seem likely at an early
stage of a business' lifecycle, if the administrative tasks
are not sufficient to warrant hiring a full time employee,
the best solution would be a Virtual Assistant. Indeed
even if the workload justifies a full time employee the
calculations above might suggest the VA route should be
considered.

The choice is ultimately yours. If you can't bring
yourself to let go of even the smallest of tasks, you might
be more comfortable continuing to do everything yourself.
But, if you have decided you need help, your next decision
should be whether to hire an Employee or use the services
of a qualified Virtual Assistant. Carefully measure the
benefits and cost involved with both options. Hopefully
this article will allow you to make an informed decision.

Creating a Profitable Home Based Business

Creating a profitable home based business, while
challenging, is not impossible. Part of the problem people
experience when they first decide to create a profitable
home based business, is that they have in mind all of the
advertisements for things like "make $4,000 a week part
time" and similar ads. However, there are real ways people
can make money from home.

Real Ways to Create a Profitable Home Based Business

Creating a profitable home based business is really the
same as creating a profitable business of any type, the
only thing that differs is the location. There are
however, few types of businesses that are more conducive to
being based from the home. Some of these businesses
include freelance writing, residential contracting,
consulting, and small business services.

Freelance Writing

Freelance writing is something that anyone can do from
home, provided they had a good grasp of grammar, spelling,
and writing style. You do not have to be the type of
person that can write it Pulitzer prize-winning piece of
journalism to freelance write from home. While you do have
to have a certain degree of talent and grasp of the English
language, outstanding writing ability is not necessary.

The types of writing that can be done from home include
things like, magazine articles, website content writing,
copywriting, technical writing, and even books. Freelance
writing is generally easiest from the start of a
combination of venues are used. Magazine articles tend to
pay fairly well depending on the publication. However,
they can be somewhat difficult to rely on full time since
the waiting time between querying and payment is very long.

Website content writing can be a great way for fast money
with more lenient writing guidelines. It is not quite as
lucrative as magazine publications. Copywriting and
technical writing generally will require experience and/or
education to break into. However, by starting off with
lower rates or volunteering time a person can break into
these fields as well. Books are something that should not
be relied on as a source of income, at least not for new
writers.

Residential Contracting

Residential contracting is a commonly used profitable home
based business. While the experience required for this
type of work is varied, it is something that someone with
even general handyman knowledge can break into. This is
because even though many profitable home based businesses
that are based on contracting art are high level in that
field, many people perform basic maintenance and handyman
services from their home. If a person has a lot of
contracting and construction knowledge they can even start
off at a higher level in this field.

Consulting

Consulting can be a very profitable home based business.
Basically, consulting is just doing what you did before you
worked at home, but this time working for yourself. For
example, if you worked in information technology prior to
starting your home-based business, you can use the skills
and knowledge gained from that career to create your own
consulting business. This may involve a bit of marketing
and self-promotion, but it can yield very lucrative
results. This type of profitable home based business is
easiest to get into if you have several years of experience
in a given field.

Small Business Services

Small business services can be a very profitable home based
business. These services will generally be in something
that you have previous experience with. For example, if
you have accounting, bookkeeping, or tax prep experience,
you can start a home-based business using those skills for
small business owners that cannot necessarily afford or
want to deal with the hassle resulting from working with
larger companies to provide those services.

Other small business services that a person could start a
profitable home based business from include things like
transcription services, clerical services, and any other
miscellaneous service that small and medium-sized
businesses may require.

While offers like, "make $4,000 a week part-time" may sound
tempting initially, a person that is serious about creating
a profitable home based business should look into creating
a business from things that they know and have experience
with instead. While this may not lead to you getting rich
your first couple of weeks, it can lead to strong, stable
income in the long-term.
