Nutritional Products - The Ideal MLM Product Line

Nutritional Products - The Ideal MLM Product Line
If you are involved in MLM or Network Marketing, what is
your goal to achieve? What is it that you want to achieve
financially? Is it just to earn some extra cash? Or is it
to make large commissions quickly? Or is it to build a
long-term permanent residual full-time income that keeps
giving you returns long after you have stopped all activity
in your program.

I don't know about you, but in all my business activity I
prefer businesses that keep giving returns year after year.
I want to do the work one time and keep collecting the
rewards from it for a long time, even if it means I take
less profits in the present.

All kinds of products and services have been sold through
MLM. But one product line that has consistently been the
most successful in producing long-term income is
nutritional products. Most of the Millionaires in Network
Marketing have made it promoting a company selling
Nutritional and Health products.

This trend is going to continue in the future for the
following reasons:

Baby Boomers are Getting Older - As the USA population gets
older, nutritional and health related products are going to
be more and more in demand. The Wellness industry in 2002
was $200 Billion, today in 2007 it is $500 Billion and it's
expected to become a $1 Trillion industry by the year 2010.
Baby Boomers are mostly affluent and they care about their
health and fitness. They want to feel young and look good,
and they are willing to spend quite a bit to achieve this
goal. Doesn't is make sense to position yourself in this
industry?

Nutritional Products are Replenish able - The best MLM
product is one that gets used up and needs to be purchased
again frequently. That's how long-term residual income is
created. When you have a quality product line and the
prices they are offered at are competitive, then there is
little reason for people to stop purchasing the product,
even if they have decided to not work the MLM business.
This is a key factor in making your MLM business a real
business. People should be willing to buy your company's
products even if they don't want to work the business.

Convenience of Getting the Products - Most people go to the
grocery stores, stop for gas, go shopping to buy clothes,
etc., but they don't like to go shopping for nutritional
supplements. People prefer these to come to them. One
reason for that is that nutritional supplements stores can
be overwhelming and confusing. Major chains like GNC don't
carry the most innovative and advanced supplements. So you
have to go to a vitamin and nutrition store that is open to
all forms of nutritional products. Then you have to decide
which ones will work for you, and go to the store every
time you run out. Network Marketing makes it easy for
people to get their nutritional products. All the
information is usually available on the company websites
and the products are delivered to them every month. This is
of great value to most consumers.

Over the coming years, we will see a tremendous growth in
the health and wellness industry as a whole. Nutritional
supplements will be a huge part of this growth. Those who
see this and align themselves with a quality Network
Marketing company with competitive prices and high quality
products will build huge incomes that will last for a very
long time.

Business eCommerce Trends: How Online Storefronts Provide another Option to do Business Online

Business eCommerce Trends: How Online Storefronts Provide another Option to do Business Online
Have you ever wondered how artists, musicians, or business
people who do NOT have a website, can join in the world of
ecommerce and make profits? Thanks to new online
technologies, the Internet now affords everyone an
opportunity for profits. One of the latest business trends
on the Internet is something called Effortless Commerce, an
integrated, turnkey managed eCommerce solution that enables
even those folks who don't have their own websites to sell
and deliver content to a worldwide audience. The technology
enables people to profit from their content who otherwise
could not easily do so. They can literally create a
product, put it on a storefront for sale, and make profits.

Electronic commerce, commonly known as e-commerce or
eCommerce, consists of the buying and selling of products
or services over electronic systems such as the Internet.

Let's say you are a personal trainer who has a new DVD to
sell, or a young aspired musician with the latest music
that you would like to get out to the world. You don't make
enough money yet to spend the money for a website. You have
explored the route of getting a manager and sales team to
sell your product into retail stores, but this cuts into
the percent of profits that you could make. Where can you
turn?

The amount of trade conducted electronically has grown
dramatically since the wide introduction of the Internet.
The Census Bureau of the US Department of Commerce
estimated that U.S. retail e-commerce sales for the second
quarter of 2007, adjusted for seasonal variation and
holiday and trading-day differences, but not for price
changes, was $33.6 billion, an increase of 6.4 percent
(0.8%) from the first quarter of 2007.

Online storefront using Effortless Commerce requires no
coding or technical expertise. People have the option to
offer products in downloadable formats so that their
customers can purchase physical disks, digital downloads,
or both. Their online store will automatically display
options in the local language and currency for visitors;
provides automatic tax calculation, filing, and payment;
has special pricing structure for content suppliers;
editing, authoring and graphic design services; uses an On
Demand Production Engine whereby CD/DVD products are
manufactured upon purchase with zero inventory; offers
automated order processing ... everything, from the time of
purchase until shipping products, happens automatically and
on time; multiple shipping methods and worldwide delivery;
provides email notifications to customers with shipping
confirmations and tracking numbers; and features automatic
payment.

Another trend in online business is a new phenomenon called
pretailing, which Garter says, "consists of the
multi-channel shopping activities consumers do before they
even visit a retailer's Web site or local store. Pretailing
will increase in importance as consumers get access to more
retail information and services on the Internet." (Source:
Gartner Group, 28 February 2007)

And if you don't think that eCommerce is important enough
to the global economy, according to the
PriceWaterhouseCoopers' Global Entertainment and Media
Outlook 2006-2010, online advertising spend predictions
will reach $26 billion by the year 2010.

high-quality CD and DVD production including video editing,
DVD authoring, graphic design, photo realistic and

Top 10 Interview Bloopers...and How to Avoid Them

Top 10 Interview Bloopers...and How to Avoid Them
We've all heard stories of job candidates who looked great
on paper but were absolute disasters in person. With
fewer interview opportunities available in this competitive
market, it's essential to make the best possible first
impression.

You can learn from the mistakes of others and avoid the top
10 worst interview blunders.

1. Poor handshake. The three-second handshake that starts
the interview is your first opportunity to create a great
impression. But all too often an interview is blown right
from the start by an ineffective handshake. Once you've
delivered a poor handshake, it's nearly impossible to
recover your efforts to build rapport. Here are some
examples:

* The Limp Hand: Gives the impression of disinterest
or weakness.

* The Tips of the Fingers: Shows lack of ability to
engage.

* The Arm Pump: Sincerity is questionable, much like an
over-agressive salesman.

Even if you're a seasoned professional, don't assume you
have avoided these pitfalls. Your handshake may be
telling more about you than you know. Ask for honest
critiques from several friends who aren't afraid to tell
you the truth.

2. Talking too much.

In my recruiting days, I abhorred over-talkative
candidates. So did most of my client employers.
Over-talking takes several forms:

* Taking too long to answer direct questions. The
impression: This candidate just can't get to the point.

* Nervous talkers. The impression: This candidate is
covering up something or is outright lying.

To avoid either of these forms of over-talking, practice
answering questions in a direct manner. Avoid nervous
talking by preparing for your interview with role-play.

3. Saying negative things about your current or past
employers/managers.

The fastest way to talk yourself out of a new job is to say
negative things. Even if your last boss was Attila the
Hun, never, never state your ill feelings about him/her.
No matter how reasonable your complaints, YOU will come out
the loser if you show that you disrespect your boss. When
faced with the challenge of talking about former employers,
make sure you are prepared with a positive spin on your
experiences.

4. Showing up late or too early.

The first lesson in job-search etiquette is to show up on
time for interviews. A lot of job seekers don't realize,
however, that showing up too early often creates a poor
first impression as well. Arriving more than ten minutes
early for an interview is a dead giveaway that the job
seeker has too much time on their hands, much like the last
one picked for the softball team.

Don't diminish your candidate desirability by appearing
desperate. Act as if your time were as valuable as
theirs. Always arrive on time, but never more than ten
minutes early.

5. Treating the receptionist rudely.

Since the first person you meet on an interview is usually
a receptionist, this is also the first impression you'll
make. Don't mistake low rank for low input. Often, that
receptionist's job is to usher you into your interview.
The receptionist has the power to pave your way positively
or negatively before you even set eyes on the interviewer.

6. Asking about benefits, vacation time or salary.

What if a car salesman asked to see your credit report
before allowing you to test drive the cars? That would be
ridiculous and you'd walk away in disgust. The effect is
about the same when a job seeker asks about benefits or
other employee perks during the first interview. Wait
until you've won the employer over before beginning that
discussion.

7. Not preparing for the interview.

Nothing communicates disinterest like a candidate who
hasn't bothered to do pre-interview research. On the flip
side, the quickest way to a good impression is to
demonstrate your interest with a few well thought out
questions that reflect your knowledge of their organization.

8. Verbal ticks.

An ill-at-ease candidate seldom makes a good impression.
The first signs of nervousness are verbal ticks. We all
have them from time to time-umm, like, you know. Ignore
the butterflies in your stomach and put up a front of calm
confidence by avoiding verbal ticks.

One of the best ways to reduce or eliminate them is through
role play. Practice sharing your best success stories
ahead of time, and you'll feel more relaxed during the real
interview.

9. Not enough/too much eye contact.

Either situation can create a negative effect: Avoid eye
contact and you'll seem shifty or untruthful; offer too
much eye contact, and you'll wear the interviewer out. If
you sometimes have trouble with eye-contact balance, work
this out ahead of time in an interview practice session
with a friend.

10. Failure to match communication styles.

It's almost impossible to make a good first impression if
you can't communicate effectively with an interviewer.
But you can easily change that situation by mirroring the
way the interviewer treats you. For instance:

* If the interviewer seems all business, don't attempt to
loosen him/her up with a joke or story. Be succinct and
businesslike.

* If the interviewer is personable, try discussing
his/her interests. Often the items on display in the
office can be a clue.

* If asked a direct question, answer directly. Then
follow up by asking if more information is needed.

When you allow the interviewer to set the tone of
conversation, this can vastly improve your chances of
making a favorable impression. You can put the
interviewer at ease-and make yourself seem more like
them-by mirroring their communication style.

Just as a strong resume wins you an opportunity to
interview, strong interview skills will win you
consideration for the job. You already know that you
won't earn an interview unless your resume sets you apart
as a candidate of choice. Because of this, you commit
your resources to present an outstanding resume.
Likewise, you should know that polishing your interview
skills can mean the difference between getting the job-and
being a runner-up.

Start your job search with a resume that creates a stellar
first impression, then back those facts up with your
extraordinary interview skills. You will have made
yourself a better candidate by avoiding these ten interview
pitfalls. And no one will have to talk about you as the
candidate who "almost" got the job.

Sales Commissions Earned

Sales Commissions Earned
Are you a salesperson? Are you a business owner who pays
commissions to salespeople? Depending upon your role, you
may have a very different perspective regarding commissions.

Today, many salespeople are not paid a salary, rather they
are paid a percentage of the gross profit earned on each
sale. Some may remain a part of a company benefit program
including health-care plan, expense allowance, 401K,
cafeteria plan, etc..., but are frequently not considered a
salaried employee. Many other salespeople earn a larger
share of the gross profit, hence are responsible for their
own expenses, benefits and tax payments. Most of these are
considered 1099 agents rather than employees.

Whichever applies to your situation certainly influences
your attitude towards commissions earned. I have spoken
with some business owners that consider salespeople a
necessary expense and not an asset. These are typically
somewhat reluctant to write those commission checks each
month, seeing cash going out the door but not certain if
the salespeople are actually worth it. Others see
salespeople as a critically important component to the
success of their company and enjoy writing large commission
checks, knowing that the growth and profitability of their
business hinges upon the performance of motivated and
inspired salespeople.

As a career salesperson, I have strong feelings about
commissions and an important message to all business owners
who utilize salespeople to penetrate new markets and grow
the customer base. Here is my recipe for a win-win pay-plan
that works well for both the business owner and salesperson
alike:

1. Keep the pay plan very simple.

2. Avoid conditional circumstances to generate commission.

3. Salespeople want to earn money. Motivate them.

4. Dangle the carrot. Top performers will go for it.

5. Pay commissions promptly.

6. Inspire salespeople. Let them know that you are anxious
to pay them the big bucks in return for big, profitable
sales performance.

7. Owners: Show appreciation and respect for your
salespeople.

"In effect, the sales rep has created and enhanced the
business cash flow, and is being paid what she is worth to
the organization. Not many other jobs can make that bold
claim in an objective way. Low level sales producers
receive low amount pay days. Bottom producers are not worth
what they are paid as they don't add much revenue or new
customers for the company. Star performers earn their
commissions and bonuses" says Wayne Hurlbert at Blog
Business World.

The end result is that happy, inspired, motivated
salespeople will generate far more sales, more profit and
greater growth for the business, bringing smiles to the
faces of both the business owner and salesperson alike!

The Power of a Millionaire Mentor and How to Find One

The Power of a Millionaire Mentor and How to Find One
A Millionaire Mentor - eveyone wants and needs to have a
mentor. But you need to know the only way that can happen
is for you to deserve to have a mentor.

What should you look for in a mentor? Well what I did when
I met my mentor Holton Buggs. A person who could impact my
life dramatically. Did it work?

Holton changed our families lives forever. This servant
took 3 1/2 years and flew from Houston Texas to Santa Rosa
California once each month to mentor us. As a result my
wife and I retired from Corporate America in our thirties.
Holton sacrificed time at home with his family to help us
achieve our goals. That is serious servant leadership.

Now - How can YOU have a millionaire mentor like that?
Well, first of all get some of their precious time by
asking them to lunch or dinner. Everyone needs to eat at
some point, right?

Once you sit down with them you haven't opened just one
door but you just walked into a hall lined with doors as
the conversation unfolds on how they became successful.
Each door along the hallway has a journey associated with
it. Some you will choose to pursue others you will open
the door and then decide not to enter, just close the door
and move on. The great thing is you get to choose where
you want to go and how to get there. These doors where put
there by you deciding to take action and actually sit down
with this person. You never know, the person you sat down
with that you admire may want you to work with them or even
know someone that you could team up with on your journey.
The doors are there will you find the hallway?

The greatest part of all is you will get insight into how
that person acts, reacts and handles themselves in various
scenarios that they experienced in their lives. When you
are asking the questions of how they achieved the levels of
success and the journey they took be sure not to forget
these questions;

- What was your thought process during this period of time?
- What were you thinking as you decided to do x, y or z?
- Did you think you were going to get the result you did?
- What result were you expecting?
- Why didn't it work out like you thought it would?
- What would you have done differently?

And most of all LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN. This is not a time
to talk about you and what you are all about - remember you
are where you are because of your current thinking, after
all, you also asked them to lunch right? Bring a recorder
if you can and record the conversation. Jot down notes
about what they are saying so you can remember it later.
The sharpest mind is weaker than the palest ink. It will
also show them you are serious about learning this
information. You're not there just blowing wind or wanting
to take their time and not take it seriously. Their time
and your time is the most precious commodity you have. Be
sure you thank them profusely before, during and after
lunch and yes do it even if you are paying, the information
they just gave you will change you life if you really want
it to.

After the meeting sit down and review your notes that day
before you go to sleep. If you recorded it - sit down and
replay it and take notes on it. Why? Because you want to
involve all of the senses possible with this information.
Seeing the information by writing it out physically,
hearing the information, repeating the information in your
own voice so your mind can hear you say it. Get your
entire physiology around this information. And YES, this
is important. And most of all go out and teach this
information to someone else within 24 hours. You don't
have to act like you're teaching it to someone just replay
the conversation to a friend or spouse or anyone who will
listen. Why? Because if you do this you will learn it
quicker and it will stick. Now you've engaged all of the
senses, but that won't create what you want only ACTION
will at this point.

From the conversation and session you had with your mentor
you will need to internalize the information
physiologically as described. At this point, within 24
hours, you will also want to review the information once
more then sit down and write out all of the ideas you
received as you replay it in your mind once again. Once
the ideas are on paper you will want to flesh the ideas out
further on your own. For each one write a synopsis of how
this idea would look in its working form and what the
benefits would be for you and others as you take action and
implement these ideas.

You must earn mentorship folks. Work hard and do exactly
what your mentor coaches you to do. One of the main
reasons most never truly recieve TRUE mentorship is their
EGO will not allow it. I personally have worked with
several individuals on a mentorship basis and the only
thing that prevented some from achieving massive results
and greatness was themselves.

So as you look for, seek and find mentorship be sure you
are open to receive the invaluable coaching and then take
MASSIVE ACTION. Your results will come, and if they aren't
as quick as you desire redouble your efforts and follow
your mentors coaching as many times as it takes!

My wife and I received the mentorship, coaching and
leadership and paid it forward. You can do the same in any
circumstance. Find out what drives you what and you want
to achieve in your field of endeavor and then find a mentor
who has succeeded in that area. Take them out to lunch and
find out about them and how they did it. Never ask for
mentorship, instead first build a relationship. Mentorship
relationships are built over time and develop into
friendships that can last for a lifetime.

Five Easy Steps to Staying Motivated

Five Easy Steps to Staying Motivated
Motivating yourself to excel at your job or to be an
example to your employees, should not be something you do
only when the spirit moves you. It's an ongoing process
that should include every facet of your business life. This
means your mental attitude, physical well-being and
appearance, work atmosphere, your interaction with others
(clients and employees alike), and your off-the-job
environment.

Motivational experts get paid big bucks to tell
professionals, striving for success, that they must
constantly examine these factors. How do you do that?
Follow the 5 tips that follow, and watch the changes.

1. Maintain a Positive Attitude - Let's realize that life
is only 10% of what happens to us and 90% how we react to
it. We're responsible for our own actions and attitudes,
and changing them when appropriate. When you're around
people/things that are uplifting and positive, you feel
that way. You have more confidence in yourself, and know
you can change whatever needs changing. If you can make
your workplace such a place you'll find happier workers and
higher production. You might even find your employees look
forward to coming to work!

2. Leave Personal Troubles Home - Everyone has problems,
but they don't belong at work. Turn your attention and
energy entirely to your on-the-job tasks. This will
actually be good for you because you'll get a mental break
from your troubles.

3. Create Positive Affirmations - The reason for writing
goals for your business is the same as creating positive
affirmations on paper. What your eyes see and ears hear,
your mind will believe. Try it! After you've written them
down, read them aloud to yourself - and do it every morning
when you get into work. You'll be amazed at what happens.
Come up with a set of new ones every month. Statements
such as, "I'm an important and valuable person," or "I know
I'll make good use of my time today." Repeating them out
loud everyday at a set time will help reinforce positive
actions.

4. Make Sure Break Times Are Really Break Times - This is
an area where most bosses/entrepreneurs fall down. You
become so intense about the project or situation you're
working on that you don't ease up. Thinking that it'll be
solved in the next few seconds, and then you'll get a cup
of coffee can lead you right up to quitting time.
Regularly adhering to a specified break schedule, even if
you're the boss, releases the tension. If you work on a
computer this is even a greater problem because before you
realize it - you've been working in that same position for
hours. The best answer to this is to set yourself a
reminder on your appointment calendar for every 2 hours,
and let the computer reminder chime send you the alert to
move around.

5. Exercise, Exercise, Exercise - I know that lately it
seems that "exercise" is the cure-all to every physical
ailment or your love life, but despite that there is some
truth to that ugly word. By "exercise" I don't mean that
you should go out and join a gym and spend your lunch-time,
3-days-a-week there working out. What is really beneficial
and workable is that at those chiming alerts from your
computer, get up and walk around your desk or room. Maybe
go outside and get the mail and enjoy the sunlight (if
you're an entrepreneur that has a home office), or just get
up and do a few stretches. Concentrated, tense thinking -
typing - plotting plans - or whatever your work, makes all
those muscles tighten up and knot up. Then when we move we
"ooh" and "ouch" because we've knotted up into a ball of
tension. Periodic stretching, even at our desk, or just
getting up and walking over to the window and getting a
different view can help. One of the greatest disservice
modern business décor has done to us, is making our offices
pristine, sleek, unencumbered spaces. There is nothing
more relaxing than getting up from your desk and walking
over to a peaceful, serene, seascape or pastoral painting
and just drinking it in visually. Momentarily transporting
your mind out of work and into that place does wonders. A
few good paintings and less shiny chrome in offices would
benefit us all.

It only takes a little concentrated effort on our part to
keep motivated and productive, which leads to success. I
know you're going to hate hearing this, but it's true
anyway - and that is, "WHEN LIFE GIVES YOUR LEMONS - MAKE
LEMONADE!"

Hotel Soundproofing - A Case Study

Hotel Soundproofing - A Case Study
In September 2003, Green Bay, Wisconsin's legendary Lambeau
Field celebrated the completion of a $297 million
redevelopment. On a nearby street named after football's
greatest coaching legend, another multi-use structure
opened for business. Combining an indoor water park,
arcade, and conference center with an exquisite 161-room
lodge, The Tundra Lodge Resort and Waterpark seemingly had
everything going for it on opening day. Just four blocks
from the country's newest pro stadium in a region famous
for rabid football fans, many of whom travel long distances
to attend games, The Tundra Lodge was perfectly situated to
draw faraway fans and local families to its Lombardi Avenue
address.

THE PROBLEM

But then the complaints about room-to-room sound intrusion
began. The facility's Managing Director of Engineering,
Melanie Novinska, vividly remembers the impact that
mounting complaints over unwanted sound were having by the
end of the first year of operation. "It cost our property a
lot of discounted rooms and certificates for people to give
us another try. "The sound transfer from one guestroom to
another was unacceptable. Of course, when you first open
any hotel property, business is slow. You don't find the
problems until you're selling lots of rooms and guests are
next to each other." How bad was the real-life performance
of the resilient channel walls her original
architect-builder believed would deliver an STC rating
around 50? Before renovation began, the sound transmission
of the old walls was measured. The best-performing walls
came in at a mere STC 37 and the worst yielded a paltry STC
34 rating-only one or two points above standard 5/8-inch
drywall. Because the lodging business is so heavily
impacted by word-of-mouth, Novinska estimates inadequate
sound isolation in the original construction was causing
some 50% of repeat business to evaporate. That's a lot of
revenue for any hotel to lose; for a lodge with over 160
rooms it was a flat out disaster. Something had to be done.

THE SOLUTION

Novinska felt compelled to educate herself. "I read about a
number of solutions on the internet and requested
information. We chose to fix the problem using QuietRock,
an internally damped soundproof drywall." After receiving
third-party validation from Patrick McCormick of Brandner
Engineering about the proposed solution, contractor HJ
Martin began the work of removing the now two-year-young
drywall. While the new soundproof drywall could have simply
been placed over the existing drywall, outlets needed to be
moved as well, so it was decided to remove the drywall on
the shared walls. The soundproof drywall was then used
instead of the old RC/drywall wall. "With tape, texture and
paint, we were able to complete about 6-8 rooms every 5
days", Novinska recalls.

RESULTS

"Before we fixed it, the situation was really bad," Jay
Hussong of drywall contractor HJ Martin commented. "You
could hear conversations right through the walls. After we
addressed each room, we measured multiple rooms at STC 50
or better-we could clearly hear the difference." "After
fixing the rooms, the noise complaints ceased," reported
Novinska. "The difference was amazing, and our occupancy
rates went up. This was the perfect solution for us.
Factoring all the costs, including materials and labor,
you'll realize savings over the long term by addressing
soundproofing upfront, she advised other building owners.
"Start with the right products and properly position your
outlets and any other openings on back-to-back guestrooms,
and you'll get quiet rooms."

Business Self Storage

Business Self Storage
How Self-Storage Can Help Your Business

Lately more and more small and large businesses have turned
to self-storage over warehouses for their storage needs.
There are a few different reasons for this switch including
more flexibility, better security, better maintenance
policies, and more accessibility. With so many different
facilities operating, and the various features each
facility offers, businesses need to inform themselves on
what to look for in a self-storage company as well as what
to do to prepare the contents for storage. Preparations
vary according to the items being stored and the length of
time of the storage. This article will discuss the various
features of self-storage as they pertain to small and large
business owners looking for a better solution over the
typical warehouse facility.

Warehouses allow people to rent a certain amount of space,
or a unit, to store inventory, office supplies and
equipment, just about anything a business owner would need
storage for. The disadvantages to warehouse storage include
limited accessibility, lack of security and maintenance and
lack of space options. Warehouse storage can be adequate
for items of little value and are not made of materials
that are hazardous or likely to attract moisture or pests.
If the company is not overly concerned with the security or
condition of the items (for example a large supply of
cardboard boxes for shipping) than a warehouse may be a
viable solution.

However, most businesses do care about their supplies, even
those that are of relatively little value. For this reason
it is best to use a self-storage facility, which will
better protect your company's items from theft, harsh
temperatures, rodents and insects. Warehouses are typically
only accessible to customers during normal business hours
whereas many self-storage facilities allow renters 24-hour
access to their units. Warehouses usually hire a security
guard or two to walk around the building periodically,
while self-storage companies post guards, use perimeter
fencing, security camera and theft-deterrent lighting. To
gain access, individuals are usually required to scan a
card, or punch in a code on a keypad. Some self-storage
facilities have even added thumb print or hand print
verification scanners for better security.

There are many possible uses for self-storage facilities
for business owners. Business self storage is much safer
for storing inventory than renting a warehouse. Your
inventory will have less chance of getting stolen, or
damaged at a facility with high security, climate
controlled environments and protection against vermin.
Excess office supplies may not seem important or valuable
enough to rent a storage unit for but as any business owner
knows, every supply costs money and you would have to find
a place to store it somewhere. Finding yourself in the
position of having to replace a large bulk of supplies,
even inexpensive supplies like paper or file folders, that
have been damaged by water, heat or rodents, can add up to
hundred of dollars better spent elsewhere. If just one
accident like this is prevented, the difference in cost
between a warehouse and a self-storage unit has been
refunded.

Self-storage containers can be helpful for storing excess
office equipment during a move from one office to another.
With the correct precautions, even sensitive electronic
equipment can be stored for as long as you need. In the
event that a seasonal item does not sell as well, you can
store the excess inventory in the self-storage unit until
the following year or until your business has a clearance
sale.

By purchasing office supplies, such as printer paper, in
bulk your business can save money. Use the self-storage
container to hold the excess supplies until you have need
of them. You can also store past documents that need to be
saved but do not need to be kept close at hand inside a
self-storage unit. Possibilities include tax documents,
past employee files, and outdated contracts that may still
require service or fall under the limits of legal action.

The majority of indoor self-storage facilities offer
climate control, which prevents the unit from becoming
colder than 40° F or warmer than 90° F. This feature can
prove useful when your company need to store temperature
sensitive materials, including paper that has a tendency to
yellow when left in a too warm environment for a long
period of time. Depending on the type of business you own,
your inventory may fall into the category of items that
require climate controlled storage.

For items that require a specific temperature of at least a
more narrow range of temperature, ask the facility what
temperature the facility is normally kept at as well as the
range of temperatures within the units. The answers to
these questions should allow you decide whether the
facility will suit your needs or not.

Aside from the storage, security and climate control that
business self storage companies offer their customers;
there are several additional features that self-storage
facilities offer that can save time and money for your
company.

First of all, the locks sold by many of the self-storage
are often the highest standard available. Do not let the
high cost make you hesitate to invest in one to keep your
items as secure as possible. Some self-storage companies
will actually require that you use the locks they sell.

Since people often rent storage facilities during moves,
the companies sell packing supplies to their customers.
These supplies include cardboard boxes, shipping tape, and
packing materials to prevent damages. What could be easier
than picking up a sold item at your storage facility and
then picking up the material to wrap it in and the box to
ship it in on your way out of the facility?

Additionally, business self storage facilities often rent
out materials to prevent damage from occurring to the
contents of your storage container. These supplies include
protective plastic sheets, pallets to keep your contents
off the floor and moving blankets to protect your large
items from getting harmed while moving them.

FriendsWin Claims To Be the Next MySpace?

FriendsWin Claims To Be the Next MySpace?
There is a social networking site called FriendsWin that
claims to be the next MySpace. Friends Win also claims
those who join early will become millionaires because
members will be paid on their entire network of friends.
Are these two claims valid?

Social networking sites like MySpace, Facebook or Hi5 are
popular because millions of people visit and participate in
them everyday making them rank as the most visited websites
in the world.

Since these social networking sites generate so much
traffic, they also generate tons of money in advertising
revenue. This makes them highly lucrative to those who have
shares in their ownership.

How many times have you gone to My Space and seen ads from
dating sites such as Match.com or E-Harmony etc. or banners
about a new movie coming out or a musician's new album for
example.

There is no doubt social networking sites are cash cows.

Well, let's look at the social networking site called
FriendsWin and their two claims of becoming the next
MySpace and creating millionaires and see if its justified.

1) What Is FriendsWin?

It is a social networking site that pays you on your entire
social network. Each member pays $9.97 a month and earns
commissions off of every other member they are connected to
directly and indirectly.

2) Will People Choose To Join Another Social Network?

Social networking sites like MySpace, Facebook and Hi5
among others are growing at a rate of 89% a year
automatically, then we would have to assume the same growth
trend would hold true for others such as Friends Win.

But why would someone choose to join a social network where
they have to pay $9.97 a month where they could just get
the same services for free somewhere else?

3) Your Products

Along with all of the other features that the other
networks offer, Friends Win has additional features in the
fields of video communication such as video dating, video
resume and video business conferencing.

Friends Win combines the 4 biggest trends in the world
right now into one communications platform which means a
platform that will generate a lot of money.

These trends are, social networking, online dating, the
employment industry, and the Internet home-based business
industry.

4) Your Compensation Plan

The compensation plan in your Friends Win opportunity will
focus mainly on a 5x8 Super Matrix.

This is not a so-called pyramid scheme but a systematic
matrix structured so all members get paid on their entire
networks of contacts and friends.

Each member starts with 5 people on the first level and
proceeds down by multiples of 5 until you reach the eighth
tier with 390,625 possible members.

So are the two claims that FriendsWin make as far as being
the next MySpace and creating millionaires valid? We'll
just have to watch and see.
